Our History
Founding
Founded in Hamburg by Horst Bode, trading in conventional delicatessen products and spices.
Conversion to organic
Organic foods are still not very widespread. The organic idea develops within the family, and so both private and business practices are converted.
Second generation
Son Frank Bode takes over the company at the age of
23, with three employees.
Bode is growing
Strong expansion, now 80 employees, and new warehouse buildings are constructed.
Generational change
The third generation of the Bode family joins the company.
