Our History
Founded
Founded in Hamburg by Horst Bode, trading in conventional delicacies and spices.
Conversion to organic
Organic food is still not very widespread. The organic idea flourishes within the family, and so the business and private life are both converted.
2nd generation
Son Frank Bode takes over the company at the age of
23, with three employees.
Bode is growing
Strong expansion: by then there are 80 employees, and new warehouse buildings are constructed.
Generational change
The third generation of the Bode family joins the company.
